Reformer Warranty
Warranty Summary
FitBoutique warrants its reformers against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. If a defect covered by this warranty appears within that period, FitBoutique will repair the product, replace the affected part, or replace the product at no charge, subject to the terms set out below. This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Who This Warranty Covers
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. It covers products purchased directly from FitBoutique or an authorised FitBoutique stockist, and proof of purchase is required for all claims.
Every reformer in our range is built to commercial grade and is covered for both home and studio use, provided it is used in line with the instruction manual, care guidelines and maximum user weight rating.
What Is Covered
- The frame, welds and structural components
- The carriage frame, rails and footbar assembly
- Defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of manufacture
- For foldable models, the folding mechanism and locking assembly
Consumable components including springs, ropes, straps, loops and wheels are covered against manufacturing defects only. Deterioration of these parts through normal use is expected over time and is not a defect.
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, chips, upholstery marks or discolouration
- Natural deterioration of consumable parts through normal use
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or improper storage
- Damage caused after delivery, including dropping or mishandling the reformer during unboxing
- Incorrect setup or adjustment, or failure to follow the instruction manual and care guidelines
- Use on an uneven surface
- Exceeding the maximum user weight rating
- Products modified, altered, disassembled or repaired by anyone not authorised by FitBoutique
- Damage from the use of non-genuine parts
- Damage from exposure to moisture, salt air, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures or outdoor storage
- Damage occurring in transit after delivery, or from relocating a reformer without following the folding and moving instructions
Disassembly
Reformers are supplied fully assembled and must not be disassembled, unscrewed or taken apart. Minor accessory attachment such as ropes, poles, footbars or headrests is permitted where outlined in the product manual. The frame, carriage, springs and any structural or mechanical components must never be dismantled. Any disassembly beyond standard accessory attachment voids this warranty in full.
Crate And Packaging
Your reformer arrives in a secured crate. You must keep the crate and all internal foam and straps for the duration of your warranty period. A reformer cannot be transported safely without its original crate, so if a warranty replacement is approved and the crate has been disposed of, the replacement cannot proceed.
Damage On Arrival
Damage on arrival is handled separately to this warranty. If your order arrives visibly damaged, photograph the crate before opening and get in touch within 1 to 2 business days of delivery with your order number, serial number and photos or video. Keep all packaging, as it may be required for a courier investigation.
Conditions Of This Warranty
- Valid proof of purchase must be provided with every claim
- FitBoutique may request photos, video or other information to assess a claim, and may require the product or part to be made available for inspection
- The remedy provided, whether repair, part replacement, or full product replacement, is at the discretion of FitBoutique, in addition to any remedy required by law
- Replacement parts may be new or of equivalent specification
- A repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original 5 year warranty period
- If an assessment finds no defect, or finds the issue is caused by an excluded circumstance, the customer is responsible for any freight and assessment costs, which will be advised before they are incurred
- This warranty is void if the product serial number or identification labels have been removed, altered or defaced
